About Us
Western Values Coalition is a community initiative to bring our neighbors together to find solutions for the issues that impact us all. We are welcoming of our new neighbors, as they understand the beauty of our lands and area, and it affirms what we all know; this is a place to build a life and a community. We are civil in our discourse with our neighbors, and we solve problems together and work towards the future prosperity of all.
Our word is our bond, we tell it straight. We can both develop a plan for the land and preserve the open space and beauty that brought us all together. Our people are our neighbors, family, and friends. We are not divided by our differences but united by what we share.
PlatforM
Healthcare
The health of our community is a critical issue that needs more attention. The fact that many of us must go to the Phoenix Area for everyday healthcare needs is unacceptable. Western Values Coalition wants to bring stakeholders and citizens together to find ways to attract top quality healthcare services to the region.
Water
Water in Arizona is a major issue that is not east to understand. Western Values Coalition wants to bring experts and neighbors together to not just discuss our current water situation but also bring water management and solution leaders to the table to make a real action plan to address these issues and understand where we really stand and what will keep our community water future safe.
Growth and Development
Many wants to come and enjoy our community. Most of us came from somewhere else and to ensure we can welcome our new neighbors and keep our community special; we need a plan. Western Values is working to bring all neighbors together to make a plan that ensures we have jobs and affordable homes and at the same time preserving open space and the beauty of our community.
Community Preservation
Western Values are what make our community special. We must preserve these for future generations and learn how to expand them so new neighbors can share in them. From 4th of July to the Granite Mountain Dells, we have events and surroundings that we must keep special and design a community to showcase our community while planning for the future.
Regional Planning
These issues are not just the issues of one town or city. All of Yavapai County shares in these issues and working together around our Western Values will help address these issues in a more cost effective and long-term solution way. Let’s come together and find ways to help all of our communities today.
